Women's History Month Finale: The Women of the 1960s Atlanta Student Movement in their Own Words

March 31, 2017 ( 10:00AM - 2:00PM )

Join us on March 31st at 10:00 am to hear how women impacted the fight for civil rights in Atlanta during the 1960 lunch counter sit-ins. Our speakers include Dr. Roslyn Pope, author of An Appeal for Human Rights; Ms. Eve Wollert; and Dr. Gwendolyn Middlebrooks. The Department of English, in partnership with the Dean's Office and University Events, will host the panel discussion in the Student Center's University Rooms A-E.
